Early this morning we walked to the beach and watched the sunrise. It was great watching Tr and Ty body surfing as the sun came over the horizon. As I sat on the beach and looked across the ocean I thought of Mano in India, Wilam in Africa, Saliba in Palestine and Gigmi & Yassam in Papua New Guinea. They were home this summer, across the ocean. On the other side of the world. The world felt very big when I thought of the distance that separated us. Then I thought about how connected we all were in God. The world didn't seem all that big anymore. I asked God to bless them and thanked God for our friendships
